Fishgroms on Your Saltwater Guide
Our first Fred Hall shows were an absolute blast! It was cool to meet a lot of the people we follow on Instagram and even cooler to hear first hand stories about how fishing makes so many people happy while creating memories they'll pass on through the years. Our booth was right next to the Saltwater Stage, so I was lucky enough to get to hear Captain Dave Hansen’s super informative and outright hilarious seminars about finding and catching fish in our local waters.
Captain Dave has a great resource for saltwater fishing called Your Saltwater Guide (subscription required) - it's a easy-to-navigate site with how-to videos covering a wide variety of topics by someone who has generations of knowledge earned through decades of making a living on the water. Captain Dave and I sat down on the boat he captains, Wild in Sac, and he interviewed me about a couple of our products for his webpage.
You can also hear his fishing and boating reports on Let's Talk Hook Up radio on every Sunday from 8:00-8:15. Be sure to check both out!
2019 Day at the Docks
This FREE event features all things sportsfishing for the whole family!
The event will run from 9:00 to 5:00 and in addition to music, food, and live entertainment, will also offer fleet vessels' open houses, San Diego bay boat rides, casting contests & prizes, and booths displaying tackle, boats, apparel and art as well as fishing seminars and cooking demos!
There'll even be a stocked fishing area for kids and "a hands-on marine art contest for kids."

Fishgroms will be at the San Diego Fred Hall Show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds - 500 booths and hundreds of boats make this “The Ultimate Outdoor Experience!”

LP Family Day at Oceanside Harbor
Stop by the North Jetty area of Oceanside Harbor for some fun free family fishing - LP and Fishgroms tents will be set up in the sand so just look out for the Fishgroms flying balloons!
LP will supply the bait for fishing, but it'd be a good idea to pack your own fishing poles and lures and bring your fishing licenses. Kayaks and paddle boards too! We'll be grilling up some hot dogs to get the party started but feel free to bring snack. drinks, and more food for the grill!
